HOLY INNOCENTS, MARTYRS, FEAST
OCTAVE OF CHRISTMAS
1 Jn 1: 1-5 – 2: 2
Ps 124: 2-5, 7b-8
Mt 2: 13-18
Let’s learn well in mind the teachings of the Crib. In it we find the Child who is dear, beautiful, lovable, and around whom there are angels. We ask St. Francis of Assisi and St Alphonsus, who put their hearts into it; we ask St. Theresé of the Child Jesus who teaches us the science of spiritual childhood and her love for the heavenly Child (PRP 7, p 331).
